THE USS LUCID
3001 W MONTE DIABLO AVE
STOCKTON, CA 95204
The Stockton Maritime History Museum will open their doors aboard the USS Lucid Museum Ship for us to put N6MSO on the air for Museum Ships Weekend! Welcome Aboard the USS Lucid! The last of the great Navy Wooden Ships!
This annual event, one of the most fun of the year is your next opportunity to be on the air as the “hunted DX” station. Only about 100 to 125 ships around the world will be on the air as museum ships. Thousands of hams across the country and around the world will be hunting the USS Lucid on their quest for that coveted MSW Master Certificate! Museum Ships Weekend is sponsored by the Battleship New Jersey Radio Club www.nj2bb.org
Club members will gather on Thursday June 4th about 9 AM to put up tables and antennas and test everything out. MSW starts at 5PM Friday June 5th which is 0000Z on 6/6/26. We will be operating 24/7 until noon on Sunday 6/7. Come for an hour or two and get on the air, come for the whole 3 days. John NZ6Q will be on board the ship from Thursday afternoon until Sunday when we take everything down.
You can get on the air on voice, CW or data FT8. Come play with SDR receivers to learn how to hear better thru a high noise environment which happens at times on board. We will have 3 operating positions available.

The N6MSO callsign is listed in OQRS and club log. Stations who work us can send a $5 donation through Club Log to get a USS Lucid QSL Card. 100% of that $5 donation goes to the USS Lucid as Annie N6ACL and I pick up the mailing costs for the cards. Last year we raised about $200 for the USS Lucid.
