| Thank you for volunteering to be part of the 21st Annual Stockton Thanksgiving morning tradition to help raise hunger awareness and funds for the Emergency Food Bank — an organization that provides food assistance and programs to the working poor in San Joaquin County. Amateur Radio Operators are the eyes and ears on the course – keep the event safe by reporting what you see. ALL Radio Operators must wear a yellow or orange safety vest. If you do not have a vest, please let us know and we will have one for you at the Start / Finish Line at the Banner Island Ballpark. Rest Stops / Water Stops / Course Turns: Portable radio (HT) Spare Batteries for HT Bring a Chair – Some areas you may be able to sit in your car, but don’t count on that.Stockton PD starts closing the streets as early as 7:00 AM – Make sure you have checked in at NCS at Banner Island Ballpark before you go to your post. Net Control (NCS):Net control will be at the Banner Island BallparkNeed a minimum of 2 operators at NCSSet Up starting at 6:00 AM – be on the air by 7:00AM for check-ins and walk-ups Frequencies: Primary – N6TCE-VHF 147.210MHz +600kHz PL 114.8 Secondary – W6PHS-UHF 444.325MHz +5.0Mhz PL 94.8Tactical – Simplex 147.570MHz PL 107.2 Frequencies suggested may be changed as we get closer to the date of the event.
