Presented by the Linden Chamber of Commerce, this sweet celebration of the local cherry harvest comes complete with a parade, food, live entertainment, vendors, a cherry pie eating contest, children’s activities AND Amateur Radio. Make your way out to Linden to celebrate cherries and help out with your Amateur Radio skills.
The Stockton-Delta Amateur Radio Club assists the parade each year with organizing the parade and being the eyes and ears of public safety during the festival that follows. The parade begins at 10am on Front Street and the festival doors open at 11am at Linden Elementary.
Free for all. Bring your HT, bring your family – volunteer for a few hours and have fun! The Linden Cherry Festival is a great family event and amateur radio volunteers just make it that much better. Contact Cecil, W6CPR for more information and to sign up.
